Tour of Shakespeare's Globe and Afternoon Tea for Two by from Red Letter Days

Come and get a unique insight into Shakespeare's world with a guided tour of the world famous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Your experienced guide will fill you in on a variety of aspects of his life and his fascination and success in writing over 35 theatre productions - many of which are still performed at the Globe today. Then move onto the newly refurbished exhibition to view the costumes of some of his characters, find out how special effects have been created, view the musical instruments played throughout the performances and even learn how the globe was re-built. Complete your afternoon and unwind with a selection of teas and infusions, a delicious range of sandwiches and freshly baked cakes and scones at the in-house bar.

Availability: Runs Mondays to Sundays throughout the year.Weather: Duration: Tours (lasting 30 - 40 minutes) every 15-30 minutes from between 10am - 5pm from October to mid April and from 10am - 12.30pm (11.30 on Sundays) from mid April - October. You can take your afternoon tea anytime between 1pm - 5pm.Numbers On Day: Share your tour with an average of around 30 people (can go up to 50 on busy tours but will not exceed this). Spectators: The experience is exclusively for paying participants.Dress Code: There is no dress code but you will be standing for much of your experience so we recommend comfortable loose clothing and footwear.Guidelines: Please note that times are flexible for both tour and tea and your booked time is a recommendation only. You are free to join any tours on the day you choose and to take tea during the four hour window specified.Restrictions: All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by a participating adult aged 18 or over.
